Peer Support

As the parent or guardian of a child with congenital heart disease you can feel isolated and emotionally overwhelmed by the challenge it presents.

But with 500-600 children born with this condition every year, you can be sure there is someone living nearby that you can contact for support and advice.

• Our membership database allows us to map the location of families countrywide. If you would like to get in contact with a parent of a child with a similar form of CHD living in your region, please contact us and we will do our best to make this happen. Call 01-874 0990 or email us.

• Our parent networking groups meet through the Heart Family Friday coffee mornings that take place in various locations on the last Friday of every month. These are informal and free meet-up opportunities which allow you to meet with others living locally who have a child with CHD.
