Heart Children works to provide guidance, advocate for improvements in care and promote opportunities for our members.
We are members of the All-Island CHD Network and co-chair the Family Engagement Group which reports to the board of the Network on issues that affect families, both north and south of the border, who attend CHI Crumlin.
We work with Children in Hospital Ireland, the organisation working to bring about improvements in the care and supports available to children and families in hospital.
We promote and develop the work of the Heart Children Youth Council – a group of teens with CHD – who meet regularly to share their experiences and discuss issues relevant to their condition.
