Paul Gillen was a young man with CHD who sadly passed away at age twenty five from CHD.

Greatly missed by his family, they set up the Paul Gillen Fund with Heart Children to honour Paul’s lasting memory and every year provide a bursary of €1,000 to a young person (age 16-25 yrs) with CHD or acquired CHD to help them further their life whether it be in education, travel, business or to provide or enhance medical support.

The award will be presented to this year’s recipient at the Beat Goes on Conference on Saturday 21st Feb. To apply, please provide a one page personal statement outlining who you are; details of your CHD; your skills/talents, and what you wish to use the funding for.
