Big thanks to the Walsh family and St Brigids GAA in Castleknock for nominating us as their charity partner for their hurling blitz. The event commemorated their son Cian Walsh and the following is a lovely paragraph taken from the event programme:
“Today’s event is dedicated to the memory of our clubmate Cian Walsh. Cian suffered from a heart condition called Cardiomyopathy and passed away in 2020 at the age of 7. In life, Cian was full of vigor, fun, and mischief. We hope that today’s event might help to encourage these young people to live life to the fullest of their ability and talent as our clubmate would undoubtedly have done, had life not intervened in the manner it did.”
