Dympna is both a former Chairman and Treasurer of Heart Children Ireland. She has been involved in Heart Children Ireland since her son was born in 1997 and remains on the management committee.
Dympna lives in Dublin and is a Chartered Accountant by profession.

Originally from Tipperary (North Riding !!) and now married and living in Glasnevin with my wife and three daughters (blessed is he amongst women).I have been involved in Heart Children for seven years primarily as a committee member but also fulfilling the role of Treasurer for a few years. Apart from my family, my passion is sport–Tipperary hurling and Munster Rugby

Designer and Pattern Maker.  Nine years ago gave up my job to look after my heart baby (now nine) and subsequently, my two other boys - I'm now a Jack of all Trades. I got evolved in Heart Children Ireland in 2002, set up Henry Bear Blanketeers and have been on the Committee since 2002. I have been the Treasurer for the last two years. I am also involved in the Irish Patchwork Society, and doing a City and Guild course which I hope to finish in July
